Gazal Jalan leads Branding, Strategy, and Digital Marketing at Lluvia Tea, bringing together global business expertise and a deep-rooted passion for Assam's tea heritage. A graduate of the SP Jain School of Global Management, Gazal's academic and professional journey has taken her across Singapore, Dubai, and Australia, providing valuable exposure to international markets and consumer trends.

An entrepreneur, strategist, and lifelong tea enthusiast, Gazal founded Lluvia Tea with a vision to showcase the richness of Assam's tea culture to modern consumers in India and around the world. Having witnessed the limited awareness and availability of authentic Assam teas in many of the countries she visited, she was inspired to create a brand that celebrates origin, craftsmanship, and quality.

Beyond building a premium tea house, Gazal is deeply committed to supporting Assam's tea-growing communities. Her focus extends to promoting single-origin Assam teas, empowering small tea growers, supporting women tea pluckers, and contributing to community development initiatives centred around education, healthcare, and well-being.

Under her leadership, Lluvia Tea continues to champion the philosophy that tea is more than a beverage—it is a story of people, place, and purpose.

Her enduring love for that perfect cup of tea ultimately led to the creation of Lluvia Tea — a brand rooted in Assam and crafted for the world.

Rajesh Kumar Jalan, the principal stakeholder behind Lluvia Tea, comes from a family with deep roots in Assam's tea industry. While the family diversified into multiple businesses over the years, their connection to tea has remained strong across generations.

A passionate tea entrepreneur, Mr. Jalan brings together traditional tea-growing knowledge and a relentless commitment to quality. He remains closely involved in sourcing, production, and quality control, ensuring that every tea reflects the standards, character, and authenticity that define Assam's tea heritage.

His deep understanding of tea, combined with a hands-on approach and long-term vision, has helped shape Lluvia Tea's commitment to excellence. Under his guidance, the brand continues to celebrate Assam's rich tea culture while delivering exceptional tea experiences to customers across India and beyond.

Meet Inderjit Dutta

With over 25 years of experience in the tea industry, Inderjit Dutta brings a wealth of expertise in tea production, sourcing, blending, and tasting to Lluvia Tea. His journey began in 1997 and has taken him through some of the most respected tea-growing regions of Assam and the Dooars, where he worked across renowned tea estates and developed a deep understanding of tea cultivation and manufacture.

Having held leadership roles with some of the industry's most established organizations, Inderjit has spent decades refining his craft and building expertise across every stage of the tea value chain. In 2019, he further expanded his entrepreneurial journey by founding Teacart, a tea venture that quickly earned recognition for its quality Assam teas, green teas, and specialty blends.

At Lluvia Tea, Inderjit leads tea selection, tasting, and blending, carefully curating teas that reflect the richness and diversity of Assam. From premium CTC and orthodox teas to green teas and specialty infusions, his experience and palate help ensure that every cup delivers exceptional flavour, balance, and character.

His passion for tea, combined with decades of hands-on experience, plays a vital role in shaping the quality, consistency, and authenticity that define the Lluvia Tea experience.
